Virginia Special Election Set for January 11, 2011
Our dear great Governor Mickey D has set the date of the special election to fill the seats being vacated by Delegate Morgan Griffith and Senator Robert Hurt. This is a day for Liberals in these two districts to go out and reclaim what they lost two weeks ago. Project Left will submit our endorsements in about a month for this election.

Something Must be in the Tea in Maine
What is going on in these Tea Partiers in Maine's twisted heads? These people are from New England which is normally the most liberal (and best part) of the country. Instead, these people are absolutely crazy. If you look at their platform you would understand just how ignorant these people are. Of all of these horrible ideas I found these standouts:

Who Should be the Next Virginia Democratic Chairman?
As you may all know the Virginia Democratic Chairman Dick Cranwell is stepping down after 5 years.
"Five years is probably longer than anybodies been chairman of the Democratic Party in the last 15 or 20 years," Cranwell said. "I got a lot of baseball games, soccer games and stuff that I want to go to."

Why Does Eric Cantor Always Sound Drunk
Has anyone else noticed he always talks like he is drunk, maybe that is why he is good friends with ol' Gov. McDonnell here in Virginia whom wants to make his alcohol cheaper and easier to get for himself.
Response to 2010 Midterm Elections
Today will go down in history, not as a great day, not even as a semi-good day, but as a horrible day. Not just a horrible day for Democrats and Liberals, but as a horrible day for this entire nation. We now know what drives this county, and what drives it is not good for everyone.
Today racism prevailed in our country. What we thought had ended forty years ago has awakened again, and it is bigger and stronger than ever. Once again what the white people want, the white people have got. The white people say "I don't like being told what to do by a black guy" so they showed him. Martin Luther would be ashamed.

Why Losing the House Is Not Such a Bad Thing for the Dems
In every loyal Democrats mind the fear of losing control of the House of Representatives is huge. Let's face the facts, the Democrats will lose their House majority unless some miracle happens in the next week. Losing the House, however, may not be such a bad thing after all. Why? Because we here at Project Left are looking to the future because the Democrats still have control of the White House and all polls are pointing towards the Democrats keeping control of the Senate. The problem is, however, is that the Democrats are only guaranteed both for the next two years. Then they run the risk of losing it all. That is where the beauty of the Democrats losing the House comes in. With a the way things are now a Democratically controlled Congress and White House will likley lose all in 2012. A split house, although, will result in gridlock, which the Democrats can use against the Republicans. They can say that the Republicans are holding back the legislative process and just trying to be problems. This of course will lead to a Democratic victory in 2012. So as bad as it sounds from this blog, losing the House will actually help us in the long run.

Endorsements from the Left
Here are our official endorsements for this years General Election.
West Virginia Senate
Joe Manchin-- He has promoted West Virginia like no one before, he has turned West Virginia to a coal mining state to a tourist state. Would surely do great things for West Virginia if elected.
