2011 Election Preview

Since today is the special election, this years election season has just about finished.  So, lets take a look at this year’s general election, which will be for local offices only. Here is whose term will be up:


Roanoke County Board of Supervisors:

Catawba District:

Joseph “Butch” Church: A cookie-cutter Republican, even if his name doesn’t have the R beside it. He has already shown that he will lie in order to help the big businesses that support him, but that’s a story for another day. He is the biggest threat to our liberal values.

Cave Spring District:

Charlotte Moore: Originally lied and said she was a Democrat, so we all voted for her, then she gets in there and decides she wants to be an independent. It’s time to replace her with a liberal.

Roanoke County School Board:

Catawba District:

David Wymer: He has been a loyal Democrat since taking office. I hope he decides to run for reelection.

Cave Spring District:

H. Odell "Fuzzy" Minnix: If there was any words to describe how awful this man is. He is a racist and a bigot. Especially after we all got a look at his little racist letter.  Someone absolutely must run against him.

Sheriff of Roanoke County:

Mike Winston: Although he just ran, that election was for only the remainder of Sheriff Holt's term.  Hopefully he will seek reelection and win.

VA House of Delegates:

8th District:

Greg Habeeb: It will be hard, but he must go.

17th District:

Bill Cleaveland: It's time for this Republican to go.

11th District:

Onzlee Ware: A good democrat, will hopefully stay.

VA Senate:

21st District:

John Edwards: Democrat, hopefully will stay.

22nd District:

Ralph Smith:  The biggest crook in Roanoke, he doesn't care about anyone but himself.  He doesn't care about the environment or his constituents.

That is most of the major elections this coming year.  So let's start now and make this a liberal year.  We need to get a jump on the teapartiers and other idiots.
